TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  9 months; Beginning school year 24-25 and for future terms

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Valid Missouri commercial driver license with S and P endorsements as prescribed by state law
  3. Background clearance results must be satisfactory to the District
  4. Ability to pass required annual physical
  5. Ability to pass mandatory drug tests
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality
  7. Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and procedures
  8. Ability to comply with all traffic regulations

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of the Bus Driver is to provide support within the Transportation department area with specific responsibilities for transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from extra-curricular activities; ensuring that vehicle operations are in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.
