TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 9 months; Beginning school year 24-25 and for future terms
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Missouri commercial driver license with S and P endorsements as prescribed by state law
- Background clearance results must be satisfactory to the District
- Ability to pass required annual physical
- Ability to pass mandatory drug tests
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to comply with all traffic regulations
JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Bus Driver is to provide support within the Transportation department area with specific responsibilities for transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from extra-curricular activities; ensuring that vehicle operations are in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.
