QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation
  3. Knowledge of standard cooking skills
  4. Ability to interpret recipes and make necessary adjustments
  5. Ability to follow, read and comprehend written and verbal instructions and labels

 

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of the Substitute Cook is to assist in preparing nutritious and appetizing school meals, serving meals, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and cafeteria, clean utensils and equipment as part of providing a quality food service program.
